While I used to use WOW Matrix, this post makes a lot of sense. It's still a shame nothing could be worked out.
I hope your rewrite has made your curse client small, portable and on demand a la WOW Matrix. You don't need much for a front end, just something simple and efficient. The old curse client was a beast. It also was akin to an old TSR program that just sat there eating cycles. I hope it still doesn't behave in that manner.
