| Blizzard's release cycle is definitely longer, and while they haven't been totally up front about it (saying 3.1 was ready to be pushed out when it released)... this is much more preferable than them saying "The Lich King is currently in game and killable, but nobody has found the quest to unlock icecrown yet" or some similar bullshit.
