Took me under 30 minutes to reach the second town and get the quest for the old guys wedding ring *which I believe is the end of the game thus far*. Another 7 to explore all of the barren, encounterless world. Also, I got stuck in a room on the screen shot below when attempting to go back to the old town to level up to see how far in leveling you've thought out the skills and stats of the characters *plus I was bored*.

The first boss felt uninspired and weak, casting Ice 1 seemed far to infrequent and ended up besting her at level 2 with half my mp and 3 potions. It seems like you wanted the player to be level 5 upon leaving the cave, but forcing them to gain it all on the boss is a cop out in my opinion. The lack of enemies on the overworld hurt a lot and would go a long ways in solving this problem instead of the boss giving 100 times the amount in experience. The second boss did not even cast a single spell or do anything other then base attacks upon me. Maybe the % used was to low for whatever special attack they may or may not have had. Upon its defeat I gained yet another 500 exp, which leveled me to 7, leaving me again with the feeling you are forcing your players to be certain levels instead of them making the mistakes and going into places they should not be at low levels.

Some more humor and story interjected into the NPCs, town and locale would go a long way in drawing myself in. But I did not notice any grammar or spelling mistakes, but then again I'm sure my post is chalked full of them.

These of course are just my opinions on the matter, and you should keep at it and have fun with it.

TL;DR : Too easy, make normal encounters harder and more varied, add more funny/story

PS: never saved untill I won the game, dont worry about that feature untill you make it harder
