Oddly enough both my dad and brother are plumbers. I didn't even really notice the faucet when checking out the place but it doesn't bother me much. San Francisco architecture is all whacky anyway so I'm used to weird faucets!

Unfortunately it's just a gas fireplace, I think. I didn't actually open it up though, so maybe not. I agree that it'd be way cooler if it were wood burning though.
