Sigh.. I'm tired of hearing about the stereotypical small government republicans vs big government democrats. How about Efficient government? As large as it needs to be to do whatever job deemed necessary but the people as efficiently as possible?
If that
meant that the government owned car dealerships because it was across the board determined to be better then so be it. And if it turned out that that's a horribly bad idea and car dealerships should be owned by the people for better competition, prices, availability, etc. then so be it.
Fuck size just give me the best working government and we can nitpick about who owns the fiber optic lines later.
The republican party is quickly become the party of the religious fervent and the democratic party is appealing to the more open thinkers (who may or may not still be religious not not a zealot).
