After southern republicans blocking the bailout bill for automakers I say no. They were weak in the northeast as it is, and they basically just lost it. No matter how many corny interviews you read about those wonderful souls at the token Honda plant, by and large the north east will not forget that. Probably not for a long time. It's different when you have three or four autoplants in your city.
So no, I think after this latest move they are not. |
