They have a longer way to reinvent themselves than the Democrat's did. The Dems already had the latino and blacks in their pocket while the Republicans are still pretty far away from capturing this vote. The Dems nurtured them and got a huge turnout from both this time around and it paid off for them for being such a racially diverse party. The Republicans have a long way to go to become that diverse in their party. It's doable for them but it's going to take alot of time for them to do it.

Another question to ask is can they even handle becoming that diverse? They can't even keep the moderates and the conservatives from having a civil war in their party. So how can they handle even more diversity in their party?
