Remember the VT item that everyone could use with the exception of erudites? KKK...k?

Now this is a similar thing. Everyone gets a new toy except BST, MNK and NEC! If you see the Staff of Transcendence as MNK/BST "only" loot then just NECs get left out.

To a certain extend I think class only stuff stinks because it will rott most of the time, but still why do NECs get shafted again?

It is of course difficult to come up with useful NEC effects for example since DMF is already covered by the VP robe...maybe that is the reason.
