| One thing in WoW that had the same epic feel as EQ style items/quest was the Quest to open the AQ gates. I was in the top Alliance guild on Uldaman back when we did it and it was tedious to grind silithus mobs for hours on ends for the things for our MT to turn in for rep with the brood, but going to all the different zones and doing the raid mobs like the dragon in moonglade, the guy on alcaz island, etc was very fun and seemed epic because so many zones were involved.
Bring back epicly-long (but don't forget epicly-rewarding) quest lines that require whole raids to do. Put the MMO back into MMORPG for fucks sake.
