You go to the bazaar, buy some pimp weapons and the elaborate defiant sets, and some skinspike pots. Then you go get some C and other long duration buffs in the Guild Lobby. Grab two mercs, check /lfg for some dps, and start clearing the relevant hotzone for your level range. Replace mercs with real dps as you fill up, and vice versa.
You can experiment with what's better, you tanking with skinspike pots and tank mercs dpsing, or mercs tanking and you dpsing.
