| The theories of evolution by natural selection and common ancestry will never be "proven". Thats not possible. They will always be theories, not because we just aren't quite sure, but because, in science, theories are as good as it gets. They are models or explanations that are backed by evidence and make predictions that have been seen to be true. Also, there are NO competing models or explanations for the phenomenon. There is no other theory for the diversity of life on Earth.
Scientists continue to add to the mountain of evidence pointing to evolution and common ancestry. At this point, denying these ideas means you just don't want them to be true. That is the only way someone can look at the evidence and doubt evolution.
