| Actually thought about this in my spare time. Dumar basically doesn't understand what he is fucking talking about (duh).
Here is what you need to know Dumar, a game isn't super fucking awesome because of gameplay alone. There is no trick, or hidden fucking secret to figure out what engages players.
All it has to do is fucking work. PvE, Raids, Spells, Abilities, etc. They don't need to be fancy and shit, just WORK. Work being the opposite of BROKEN.
You don't need a fancy fucking degree to tell you that.
What engages players to play is the social aspect, thats the main reason we play online games in the first fucking place.
I want to group with players, force them to help with the insane epic quest, and show off how fucking sweet I am to the rest of the player base. As long as you have tons of content in-game where you can show off your peen to others without it being some ridiculous ass chore, then you have yourself a badass game. |
