Apparenly she had no clue what the Bush Doctrine is.... Well atleast now she knows. |
LOL "Apparenly" YOU don't know what the "Bush Doctrine" is. It's formally referred to the "Wolfowitz Doctrine". She pounced on Gibson's glib attempt to corner her and was forceful in the correct answer: that
committing to ANY doctrine to the exclusion of all other options is a disservice to the American people.
She gave the answer that was actually lived out by the one president that enthusiastically pursued the Wolfowitz Doctrine more than any other president:
Bill Clinton. Clinton pursued diplomatic, economic and eventually went with a full-on implementation of the Wolfowitz Doctrine with his unilateral and pre-emptive attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Okay maybe that's a bit harsh. She had to be nervous as hell but even so, she did not handle herself well there at all. |
Oh just go take a look around the blogosphere, especially amongst the
clintonite PUMA democrat blogosphere and you'll see plenty of folks who think she did well.
I think she did OK, especially considering how hostile her interviewer with. She did a lot better than Obama did with O'Reilly that's for sure.
