Obama not only refuses to acknowledge that school vouchers are a proven and dramatic improvement over our failed abortion of a public school system because admitting as much would imperil the favor of the teachers' unions. But Obama WANTS to award those very same corrupt unions with more money for essentially changing NOTHING.

Private schools have the luxury of determining who they will and will not accept though. They can refuse sub-par students, special needs students, and excess students who would lead to class overflow. These are all factors that influence the costs and quality of public schools.
