No, I'm saying democrats lose because they run someone who is in lock step with the far left of their party, alienating those in the middle. Republicans typically run someone who one side or the other of the far right(fiscal conservatives/hawks/jesusfreaks) isn't necessarily comfortable with. Republicans almost always end up with a compromise candidate in order to keep their coalition together, which I feel is to their benefit come the general election.
When we run Tancredo or Duncan Hunter they lose in the primary. You get behind Obama and make him your savior.
