Is that a fucking joke? That was a huge blunder. The fact that you idiots think that nearly doubling the capital gains tax is a good idea explains everything. The fact that Obama was completely baffled by the question, and had no idea what he was talking about when he stated that he'd be willing to raise capital gains from 15% to 28%. Look, I don't defend McCain's blunders, stop trying to rationalize everything Obama does. Even the Messiah can be wrong on some issues.
