If you've read anything about colonialism, you'd understand that not every culture wants the same values as us. We can't go into a "messed up" country and then try to force feed our values with guns and missiles. Our whole reason for going into Iraq was twisted and has nothing to do with terrorists. We could have tried many other things, just as Obama supports. War should always be the absolute last option. |
The problem here is that hindsight is 20/20. I agree, I thought going into Iraq was a bad idea but if I also remember correctly, most everyone voted to go into Iraq (Obama wasn't in the Senate in 2003). If Hillary won the nomination, does that mean no Dems vote period since she voted for the war???
