The biggest reason to vote for Democrats over Republicans? The GOP still doesn't realize that we live in an era of instant information, and until we prove to them that we care about facts and reality they will never stop shoveling out the same shit. This is the same reason, by the way, that I could not support Hillary in the primary and, if it came to that, in general. No matter your qualms with Obama may be, the fact remains that he will not let himself be caught in a lie. After being so disrespected for 8 years, can any of you really blame me?

And on the note of oration...Obama and Biden didn't have to hide from the world for nearly a week before their speeches. Both were campaigning, but kept a low profile, and while I know everyone practices speeches the fact that Palin completely shut out the world and still gave a distinctly amateur performance (quality of oration-wise) is a snap shot of her entire candidacy.
