| Stargate needs to take a lesson from Dr Who in the "standalone filler episode" arena. Every season so far Dr Who has invoked a couple of standalones and even now has a tradition of one 'doctorless' episode a season and they work quite well.
Love and Monsters, although against some people's tastes, was a very memorable little romp and Blink...well hellfire Blink won the Hugo!
