| Just finished "Matter" by Iain Banks which of course is a "Culture" novel. I'd never even heard of him or the Culture series until my wife brought it home for me. Total chance encounter but I ended up liking it pretty well although it took awhile to get off the ground.
Just bought: In the Garden of Iden by Kage Baker. Heard alot of good things about "The Company" series of novels and I am currently reading "The Anvil of the World" which is also by Kage Baker but not in "The Company" series. Very much enjoying her writing style so far. |
