I'm not denying any of this. My claim wasn't that ridiculous, I just thought that article was overselling how popular of a character she was to fans. Hard Luck Woman is one of the most moving episodes and her position in the Real Folk Blues draws a significant amount of pity, hence my comments from earlier.
I'm not trying to say that I would have preferred the show without her, don't get me wrong. That article was just bad.
