| Downloaded 3 tracks off kazaa. These guys are pretty cool I think. They have a VERY different sound on each track, especially the vocalist (do they have 2?). Here's what I thought:
I Am - the music sounds like old U2, circa War or October, with the singer from the Talking Heads. Good track.
Melodrama - sounds like James Brown's band from the Superbad Superslick record with the vocalist from Cake writing and performing the lyrics. Interesting.
Between Us and Them - the music could be an extra track from Duran Duran's Hungry Like the Wolf sessions, and the vocals sound alot like the dude from The Strokes.
I think they definitely have potential. More people should post obscure bands like this =) |
