So Sha'ik the Apocalyptic is not a creation of Dryjna, but just uh an instrument of angry spirits or something? Or she WAS a creation of Dryjna, but is now a force on her own? And her new power comes from the Crippled God, or was it from whatever power was born from the inferno? In fact I can't recall now if Felisin younger had the gift of knowledge that Sha'ik 2.0 had, but the commentary from the Gods etc do seem to indicate that she is the real deal and not just a figurehead. I'm very unclear on Sha'iks nature, and its obviously a plot line that we're going to come back to before long, with Paran and his army still being in Seven Cities.

I read it as the Crippled God seeing an opportunity and seizing it (the destruction of Dryjna). He's using the power of the name Sha'ik through Felisin younger along with the plague as a way to spread his influence to Seven Cities
