MT is pretty much concurrent with the first few books, yes. And confusing as hell because they refer to everything you know with different terms and they don't even know what houses and warrens are. (but the raw power of holds is so.. sooo awesome)

And in that vein. I'm thinking now that Cedance = Ascendancy, but with Holds? Explains why the Ceda was so fuckin badass. Dunno, it was just something Hannan Mosarg was saying to another character.

Actually, I'm still confused about something from Bonehunters..

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Sha'ik is reborn, again. Felisin's POV indicated that all of her power was tied to Dryjna. But Dryjna and her whirlwind are dead. So Sha'ik the Apocalyptic is not a creation of Dryjna, but just uh an instrument of angry spirits or something? Or she WAS a creation of Dryjna, but is now a force on her own? And her new power comes from the Crippled God, or was it from whatever power was born from the inferno? In fact I can't recall now if Felisin younger had the gift of knowledge that Sha'ik 2.0 had, but the commentary from the Gods etc do seem to indicate that she is the real deal and not just a figurehead. I'm very unclear on Sha'iks nature, and its obviously a plot line that we're going to come back to before long, with Paran and his army still being in Seven Cities.
