But you're right, WoW runs perfectly fine on this non-emulator. There is also a WINE fork that has an active developers team who patch their program to make it compatible with any new released game of some interest. You have to pay $10/month for the updates though, I believe.
Just for the record, you have to thanks game developers for not making their games compatible with Linux. Or, rather, make them compatible only with DirectX because the fuckers are too lazy to code I/O and shit from scratch. And it doesn't look like anybody is going to compete with DirectX any time soon.
