Crank is one of my favorite movies of the last decade or so, but realism certainly isn't its strong suit. In fact, I'd say it was one of the most absurdly unrealistic movies I've ever seen--but I'm pretty sure that was the entire point. On top of everything that happened to the guy, he actually survived the ending and they are in the process of making Crank 2 now. And as absurd as that should sound to anyone who watched the first, I cannot wait for it to come out.

Not sure why realism matters anyway, the original Death Race 2000 wasn't realistic either but it was a good movie. I doubt this remade Death Race will be anywhere near as good as Wanted (or the original), but I'll still go see it just to break up the monotony of the PG-13 summer.
