I'm so stoked!!! Tomorrow he is playing in Tulsa, OK -- his second time in less than a year. Plus he's playing at a fairly large venue, I've seen Interpol, The Mars Volta, Wilco, and many, many other bands at Cain's before, including Girl Talk.
last time was so freaking sweet, everybody got on stage (see video below) but one of the cooler parts was at the end, he talked about how he used to do "Scentless Apprentice" at the end of his shows and sing-a-long, but he had stopped doing, but because the crowd in Tulsa was so badass, he did it anyway.
Also, mid during the show, something got unplugged, so after a pause of silence, it got plugged back in and the music just fired back up and everybody went back to dancing. So fucking awesome, can't wait!!
Edit: I forgot, I guess there was speculation as to people not being allowed on stage at first. Like I said this is a fairly well-sized venue, but there wasn't security. So you can hear Gregg saying that "There are no rules tonight" right before starting. And I guess we weren't supposed to, because even as people were climbing on stage, as I hopped up, some guy walked by and shoved me off the stage. But then he walked off and didn't say anything so I just jumped right back up. Really hoping he plays the "Knife" remix again, that one bangs
