| Not really a mistell but the best lack of communication ever. This happened while building a team for sunken temple (and I know this has happened to a few people, but it happened to me as well):
Warrior: You, summon my buddy.
Mage: Um...you're thinking of warlock, dude, I don't summon. I port. You know, to places. Mostly cities.
Warrior: Dude, L2FP, summon my buddy.
Me: He's right man, he just does the city ports. You are thinking of a warlock.
Warrior: I'm surrounded by idiots. Summon him now, or we'll find another mage.
Mage: You know what? You're right...I was just seeing if you were a good warrior. Port opening, click it when it does.
(at this point, NO ONE in the group you just KNOW isn't going to click a damn thing this guy opens).
Portal opens. Warrior vanishes so fast it makes a popping sound.
Me: So where'd you send him?
Mage: Darnassus, seemed far enough way.
Me: Sweet, I got a guildy warrior ready to roll.
Warlock in the group: Alright...this time I'll summon him.
Mage: You know, you never speaking up was the best part.
Close second is the kid's mom that popped on vent when we were talking about ATM and tried to jump on us but we ended up calming her down and getting her to talk about her sexual experiences. Her son...uh, quit the guild shortly after. |
