Yeah, pretty formulaic. Random Setting X + conflict Y = 90% of Original Programming on Basic Cable. South Park illustrated that best in one of their eps.
But show me a half-naked picture of a fine woman like McCormack, and I'm instantly intrigued. Not enough to watch it mind you, but enough to support it long enough to get some PG-13 ass-shots.
