I am building a new computer with about a 3000 dollar budget and was wondering if it is better to buy two 120 gigabyte hard drives in a raid0 configuration or a single 200 gigabyte hard drive. Is the 2 hard drive set up really worth the extra cost as far as performance goes. I've never owned a 2 hard drive set up before but to my understanding the object of the raid0 configuration is to speed up data throughput. Any comments or opinions from people who have experience with this configuration are appreciated, and please nobody come on here and say "hey fuxor the point of the raid config is to give you one giant sized drive that is really 2 drives".
