Will go one of two directions.

1) Will be like EQ/WoW/andeveryother game that has had pre-scripted "DYNAMIC EFFECTS!" and the only thing you'll influence is minor things that can be added in editing after filming is done. Like whether or not the sidekick dies in the first scene to the lava monster or the second scene to the tentacle rape monster.

Which will be nifty if the game is nice. But I'll take my World of Whorecraft over yet another shitty sci-fi original series.

2) Will be a choose-your-own-adventure TV series with a game allowing you to vote which, again, will not make up for a shitty game or shitty TV series. Which isn't totally unprecedented.

Which will probably end up like #1 in the end once funding/interest begins to wane. "Yay we saved the sidekick!" and then they just kill him off at the beginning of next weeks episode. I highly doubt they'll mix the two enough that we'll ever hear such a valuable gem spoken on live TV such as "Private Thugkillzya of the "Don't Taze me Bro" squadron personally scored the most kills Admiral!"

Anyways...

We all know how published events turn out (hi2u Ahn Qiraj/Plane of Hate opening/etc...) so...meh.
