| I know you're gonna whine and bitch about my opinion, but it isn't going to change. When a celebrity puts their face on a tragedy they are buying something. When they give money like that they are buying something. The only way that isn't true is if they do it with complete secrecy.
And yes, if a celebrity puts themselves in the public eye for a particular cause I do expect them to give everything they possibly can if they're going to ask others to give money. Why are they special? They can't live like 99% of us? They need multi-millions sitting in the bank because it's necessary to their survival? You can't pretend to care about people in these situations and then go back to your cozy mansion. |
