Thats what we have in Australia. Was upgraded 10-20 years ago, you can fold it. We no longer have 1 or 2 cent coins they were phased out. Its harder to conterfeit and a good simple upgrade from old paper money.
Currently, we could almost go completely electronic with the next upgrade. But I suppose thats about 10 years away, if the US can hold out that long.
