I personally think that this election has been fascinating. I consider myself a moderate conservative, so regardless of who wins, I won't end up slitting my wrists.
I think it's going to be ugly from both sides. It won't be just the GOP spouting the hate and rhetoric, they'll both be doing it.
Right now we're hearing the vocal parts of the left and right (i.e. the extremes), but once election day rolls around, the middle is the ultimate decider.
Anyone who thinks they know how this is all going to play out is full of crap. The one thing IRB is right about is that the people who want McCain to win (or Obama to lose, depending on how you look at it), will certainly throw some shit around.
However, to think that the Democrats will be some sort of holy guiding light of perfection is fooling themselves.
