| I agree that someone like Robert Redford or Paul Newman would have been awesome as Captain America. So would Clint Eastwood, in my opinion at least. They are all far too old now though obviously.
I'd go for Pitt as Cap easily, particularly if they picked someone like Vladimir Kulich for Thor. However, if we put Pitt as Thor, or he just doesn't want to do any of these movies, and someone like Matt Damon or Bruce Willis doesn't want the job (I like both of them for it) my pick for Cap would be someone like Mark Wahlberg or Billy Zane. Don't laugh. Remember, they have to look good in a mask similar to Batman's, and have a strong personality, which I think they both have. They are decent actors without demanding absolute top salary, so I think could work well in something like Captain America. They both also have the potential to be muscular enough for the role.
And Gary Oldman needs to be Dr. Strange, period. |
