| Anyone able to explain the new god damn item system to me? I've had a few encounters with it that were less than stellar. I used someone else's chicken to buy at least 1 or 2 parts for Treads, and when I got them on my hero, they didn't combine. I had all 4 parts sitting in my inventory. I dropped them and re-equipped them multiple times. On like the 5th try it finally made the treads, but I honestly have no idea what was different about that try than the other 4, except possibly the order in which I picked them up.
Another example is I had a teammate who bought two Masks of Death by accident, so I said I'd buy him an item if he gave me mask. He did, and it didn't combine with the HoIW I had already bought. Is this a permanent change? It's really fucking annoying. Is there a trick to getting the items to combine? |
