That's the only thing that really bothers me about dating older...my wife is pretty fucking tolerable about the gaming. I can't imagine that's commonplace. I dunno what the fuck "normal" people do with their time (I imagine it involves TV, beer and football, to which I say 'blow me,' but i digress), but gaming is pretty much all I do with my spare time. Even if the sex was fucking awesome, I'd be pretty hard pressed to stick around real long. What am I gonna do, twiddle my thumbs all day and shop? Fuck that.
It's kind of not anywhere near the magnitude of what we've been talking about, but when I was 18, just fresh outta high school, I dated a 22 year old chick that summer/fall. I was seriously still working a shit job at target overnights and living with a buddy at his mom's place (long story), and she was a real estate agent, owned her own house, worked quite a bit into the evenings. I had a lot of fun but we were just in 2 completely different worlds. My buddies and I would sit around fucking playing nintendo and listening to Iron Maiden, she had a house and a real job and responsibilities and shit, and as far as I know, she didn't do anything for fun besides shop, well, and me.
I can only imagine dating someone who's my mom's age would be the same way, only far worse. I'm close to 30 here..what the fuck would I ever talk to a 45 year old broad about? She doesn't give a shit about my stable of level 70's or mario kart or how badly I mopped the table with the boys at Risk last night, and I don't care one way or another about whatever it is 45 year old chicks do with their time. I have a hard time giving a shit about what 30 year old chicks do with their time
