Song of Ice and Fire and Lord of the Rings are really the only 2 series of books i've read in the past 5 years or so. Please give Song of Ice and Fire a shot, you won't be dissapointed. And for everyone who's only on book 1... oh man wait till the last half of book 2, and then book 3. Book 1 was a little boring for me
