So... The rocket came in on an incorrect bearing (presumably) and ended up traveling forward in time. The corpse came in on an incorrect bearing (presumably) and ended up being traveling backward in time.
That said, would it be accurate to assume the Losties and Desmond came to the island on the incorrect bearing and hence if they left on the correct bearing would create either an overlap of dual existence or an underlap of nonexistence, for a short period of time, thereby making their age, relative to the age of the world they live in and their birth certificates, incompatible?
All too weird. I hope it gets explained and, more importantly, used as a plot device. |
