Can someone recomend a class for me? Heh. I enjoy the healer aspect, and like to be able to handle my own. I also enjoy melee. Obvious choice; bear shaman.

I'm curious as to what other melee classes might fit the support-utility role, though? Or how the PoM and ToS are higher up. I hate being fucking squishy, but if they're durable with enough pwn then I'd be all for it.
Sounds like bear shaman or DT. Bear shaman is basically a barbarian with less HP/CC and more heals/buffs. DT is pretty neat, it doesn't have that much group utility but he has way more than any other melee in the game, including a marytr spell wherein he hurts himselfs and heals his group (which is very handy if he's not main tanking in a group). He can feat this to restore stamina/mana as well. Of course he can also tank most common stuff and if he is offtanking in a group he can use frenzy stance for more dps (which, unlike a lot of games with a similar ability, actually works).

PoM and ToS aren't melee at all, the only time I melee on my ToS is when I'm running my pulsing PBAOE's and have time to throw a swing or two in. ToS is definitely squishy with DT having about double the hitpoints (same with PoM I think). Both classes have some good survivability spells/options though (ToS even has an "ankh" feat if you will, can come back to life once every 30 minutes).
