Within 10 minutes of the Mall, there's a Bennigans, an Outback, several Ma + Pa'ish places right off 494, an Applebee's, there's a Chili's and our favorite pizza joint just south on 35E in Eagan. Inside the mall there's a Ruby Tuesdays, a Bubba Gump, Rainforest Cafe, some hawaiian theme'd joint we didn't like, Tony Roma's, the Twin Cities grill (much higher class than I usually enjoy) and probably a few more that the wife and I personally never go to. If you can honestly tell me that all of those places aren't good enough for you, well, then go suck a dick, because I really don't know what else to say. Maybe you're not familiar with the area, maybe you're traveling, maybe you've got 100 excuses. But to claim that there's no restaurants with an hour's drive of Bloomington is fucking retarded, and you're gonna get laughed at. Hah.

There is one major shitty ghetto in every city and 50 "not-really-that-bad" black neighborhoods (often analogous to "ghetto"). Avoiding them will cut you off from some damn good food and women.

Wait, so you cruise for chicks in the ghetto? I think you and I might have different taste in women dude
The point is that there are areas that are worse than others to live. I grew up in Inver Grove. No crime, no drugs, no nothing. When I moved out, my buddy and I got an apartment on the West Side. I don't trash talk the West Side in this thread, because it's not THAT bad. But, lets face it..I ran off several kids breaking into cars in the parking lot, gunshots aren't an uncommon sound, the hallways smelled like weed more often than not, and just in general there's a lot more delinquent activity than one should have to tolerate.
I moved back to Inver Grove when I got married, and dunno that I'll move again. It's a nice place to live, and I don't need to put up with any of the above shit. I tell people what areas to avoid so they don't wake up in the middle of the night to someone breaking into their fucking car, not because I'm trying to be cool.
