| AO annoyed me with a shitty launch and I never really got over it. DAoC was fun but the complete lack of polish, transparently shoddy launch and quantity of unneeded bullshit pissed me off. AC2 amused me but ultimately made me a little more cynical.
WoW made me angry at times and amazed me at times. Such an amazing beta(s) and a very decent launch combined with such a different direction than I would have liked for the game... ah, what to say?
At the end of the day though, no other game really got to me like VG. I was a Sigil board hound for quite a while and really, I bought into the line I was being fed. The worst thing for me looking back is that I think it could have been done and simply wasn't; rather than it all being pipe dreams and vapor from the start.
Oh well, I see no relief coming soon and that too is fine. After a long, long stretch I'm close to done with the genre anyhow.
