I just want to give a little bit of advice, obviously you can take it or leave it. I just recently turned 39, and have been toying with sites like match.com because everyone I know thinks I need to be dating. That's another topic, so I won't get into it.

The main point I'd like to make is, while I'm not going to suggest *never* dating some hot cougar (I'm sure it is great fun)...don't waste your youth! The sad state of affairs is that men, of ALL ages, love hot young women. We are attracted to vibrant, healthy women, and usually youth (not pedobear territory, I mean most anything under 30) is associated with that. But, once you hit a certain age they pretty much cease to notice you unless you are a) famous, b) rich, c) in better shape than a 20 year old, or d) some combination of those. This is not a put down on women at all, I'm just saying that in general, most young hotties want nothing to do with men significantly older than them, and about the only way you even stand a chance is with one of the above options. Some young women still won't pay attention to you, because they aren't influenced by those sorts of things. And the ones that do are often bat-shit crazy with daddy issues.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, bang the young ones while you still can! Believe me when I say that ONLY having women 35+ to choose from is not all the fun and games it appears to be. And in regard to dating sites, I'll share a few anecdotes. First, "curvy" means at least a deuce, often a deuce and a half. Second, unless the picture has a date on it, assume it is at least 5 years old. Third, if you don't like to white water raft on Tuesdays, hang glide on Thursdays, and take random drives to the mountains/coast on weekends, apparently you aren't as "exciting" as 95% of the people on those sites. While it is obvious that *every* person can't possibly do all of those activities all the time, if you post anything less than that you are boring. And if you don't look like a stud, 90%+ of the women you write to will not respond because you probably picked them because you thought they were hot too, right? So did 400 other guys, and invariably one of them was younger, better looking, and owns a jet ski and a motorcycle and told her how great it would be to whisk her away for a weekend. Sure, she'll most likely come back thinking what a jerk he is, but that doesn't do you much good.

So yeah, get them while they are young, because you won't always have that chance, and it sucks to wake up one day and realize that. Don't get me wrong, there ARE wonderful women my age, it is just a lot harder to find them , particularly if you aren't interested in someone else's kids. And like men, women get set in their ways too, and don't always want to put up with your shit either.
