| You hear all this talk about "well if Hillary doesn't get the nomination then I'll vote for McCain" but I find that hard to believe, and I see it more as sour grapes than anything else. Once Obama (and his supporters) can focus on McCain instead of Hillary it will be a different ball game. I see Clinton supporters rallying behind Barack once things get hot and heavy and we've had a couple debates between the two.
To say that this thing has split the democratic vote is very shallow IMO and way too early to call. We can't forget Bush's approval ratings, McCain's stance on Iraq and the overall disdain for the Republican party (thanks again to Bush and his Cronies like Rumsfeld, Cheney, Ashcroft, Gonzalez, etc) |
