I agree. But it's also pretty silly to pick and choose what aspects of science you'll accept, and then discard ones that don't agree with your worldview simply because some book or priest or whatever tells you to.

If the Bible made a big deal about some parable on how gravity works and the end result of the parable was the "god did it", then yes I do think that fundies would take issue with Newton, Einstein, and anyone else that tried to explain gravity in a scientific way instead of just accepting the scientific explanation.
But the Bible doesn't much care about gravity, and neither do fundies, so there's no conflict.
