FFVI - Terra's Theme

This version is incredible, but there's something about the original that isn't captured by the orchestra. It's as if impossible sadness and rousing hope come together and create some amalgam of intensity and grandeur.

Xenogears - Ship of Regret and Sleep (Intro)

The song is tough to hear, but hopefully people who have never played Xeno will see this and get interested. Believe me, when it all finally comes full circle and you understand what's going on in this video while having the music coalesce around you -- mindblowing.

Super Mario World - Overworld

I could post any song from this game, but I chose this one, because when I hear it, the flood of memories that comes back is so strong I have to take a few moments to settle myself.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors - Chainsaw Hedgemaze Mayhem

Pure, unadulterated badassery.

Twisted Metal 2 - Paris

You blow the Eiffel Tower up and then drive on its French carcass while blowing other people up, all to this fucked up version of Fere Jacques.
