| What's a better strategy, ignoring games like this that should just die already or playing them so that they linger on without any remarkable updating?
Here's my history with AO:
beta/launch: horrible piece of shit game
later on when i thought about it again: horribly outdated looking and nearly opaque systems in game, requiring mods to make playing the game bearable
later on when people rambled about it being free: still looks old, still has the same issues and bizarre turn of events in the later expansion (as far as I cared to read).
So basically, I have always been interested in this - or any SCI FI mmo - I have always wanted it to be good and am happy that it's hanging on by the fingernails, yet never actually sat down and played it due to these various roadblocks. I really want to play a game like this and enjoy it.
Clicking on "screenshots of the day" and laughing? M'kay, I think it is time to move on. Release World of Anarchy Online 2.0 already. |
