As for this game, I think survival horror is going about it all wrong. I think once you see the monsters, they stop being scary. That's why the Nocturne game I mentioned above is so bad ass. They'll spend a half hour making you think that any second some shit is going to jump out at you and it doesn't come until you've played for an hour waiting for it and you're pure fucking fried nerves, so when it does come you just scream like a girl and shit your pants in your computer seat.
