Every time I read a 4 chan post, see someone's myspace page full of embedded music and flashing gif's, some ignorant pro-racism website, a website with sexually abused children, or an aol chatroom with 10 year olds going "Where do I download a program to hax0r teh someone's AIM account?!" I find myself struggling to care.

Remember when this started and it was supposed to be this beautiful interconnected hub of global knowledge and friendship that was above things like race, religion, and creed? Myspace kiddies took that from us, polluted and destroyed it. I would like nothing more than to watch it be torn down from the ground up. I want the internet to be nothing more than a beautiful encyclopedia of human knowledge beyond compare. The internet should be wikipedia, that's it, but expanded to extreme levels. The most anyone would be allowed to contribute "an opinion" would be there feelings about a topic, and each review could be deleted by an approved moderator if it was determined to go beyond the scope of the issue.
