I had my 14 year old sister watch the entire series when I was at work, though she stopped at the end of episode 10 to take a break. When I got home, me and her watched the remaining 3 episodes together, and she started sobbing as soon Boo got shot, and then when Nabuca shoots Soon, she absolutely breaks down. Had to hit pause and go get kleenex and everything.
We then immediately started watching Grave of the Fireflies, and since she was already in a weepy mood, when the movie ended she literally cried for 15 minutes straight, I've never seen anyone cry for that long. Even knowing what was going to happen, I couldn't stop myself either.
Moral of the story: These may be a bit too much for youngsters. |
